Dr. Arvantely is
Board Certified in Family Medicine. She graduated from Smith College with a degree in history, and received her M.D.
from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her Internship and Residency in Family Medicine
at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Riverside, California.
She has practiced Integrative Medicine with the San Francisco
Preventive Medical Group, where she received extensive training in Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy. She has also served
as a staff physician at the renowed Whitaker Wellness Institute in Newport Beach, California. She is a member of the
American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), which offers regular training seminars in Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy, along
with the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), which provides the best evidence-based continuing education
in Integrative Medicine and Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy. She is also a longstanding member of the American Academy
of Family Physicians (AAFP).
Dr. Arvantely has lectured extensively on issues in women's healthcare,
including Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, and on the topic of the mind-body connection in medicine.
She is especially interested in how our psychological outlook affects our physical health, and is a graduate of
the University of Santa Monica Master of Arts program in Spiritual Psychology.
